The Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk (only 30 min away)

The Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk features a stunning walkway positioned 40 meters above the ground amid the spectacular heights of the tingle forest canopy. The 600-metre walk is accessible and suitable for children of all ages, wheelchairs and strollers.


A walk trail links the Tree Top Walk to the Ancient Empire, where a sealed trail meanders across the forest floor between 400 year old red tingle trees.

Much of the plant life in this forest is unique to the south-west of Western Australia.



Watch sunrise from Greens Pool (only 5 min away)


Tear yourself away from the cosy depths of your bed to watch the sunrise from Greens Pool.

Located in William Bay National Park,only a few minutes away from our cottages, this beach is famous for its turquoise green waters and pristine white sandy beach. Large granite boulders surround the pool, protecting it from the might of the Southern Ocean.






Mount Frankland


Mount Franklin National Park is located north of Walpole. Have a picnic and enjoy the sights at Fernhook Falls. If you enjoy walking, make sure you get to the summit of Mount Franklin; this place has some spectacular views! For those a little less energetic there is a wilderness lookout that still boosts fantastic views of the area without the hike.




FOR THE ROMANTICS




Sunset at Mazzoletti's Beach


Romance and sunsets are a match made in heaven, so why not packing a picnic and a blanket and walking through our own private walking track to get to the spectacular and desert Mazzoletti Beach.

Mazzoletti Beach stretches from Greens Pool in the East to Parry Beach in the West where it crosses the Parry Inlet and continues, blending into Parry Beach. This beach is one of the most beautiful stretches of white sandy beaches stretching for over two-thirds of the National Park's coast, nearly 9kilometres and is part of the Bibbulmun Track.

Denmark Animal Farm & Pentland Alpaca Stud


In this wildlife park you can pat, cuddle and feed a huge range of friendly and interesting animals including koalas, alpacas, rabbits, chickens and joeys.

This place has also a huge craft gallery, which features ceramics and art by Wendy Binks plus other souvenir items.

The Alpaca boutique has alpaca fleece and yarn and hundreds of exquisite alpaca garments from beanies to jumpers. You can also enjoy a family lunch in the shaded picnic area, which also has gas BBQs.
