Frequently Asked Questions


  • Can I stay for one night?
    Although our minimum stay is two nights we can occasionally accommodate a one-night booking. Please contact us directly to discuss. We have a minimum stay of three nights during Long weekends, five nights during Easter and 7 nights during the Christmas and New Year period.
  • Is it cheaper to book direct or online?
    Occasionally we do offer special rates if you book direct with us feel free to contact us direct anytime.
  • How do I confirm my booking?
    Once you have made your booking you will receive an email from us confirming your reservation as soon as possible.
  • Can I reduce the number of guests if someone can’t come?
    If you need to amend your reservation, please call us direct and we will make the appropriate changes.
  • Can I pay by credit card?
    We accept cash, bank transfer, VISA and Mastercards to finalise outstanding payment. We don’t charge our guest any additional surcharges for paying with credit card.
  • What time is Check in/ Check out?
    Our check in time is from 2pm and check out is prior to 10am. Please contact us direct if you would like to arrange an earlier check in or later check out.
  • How do I check in if I’m arriving after office hours?
    We do offer after hours check in please contact us to prior to arrival to organise.
  • Can I bring my dog or pet on holiday with us?
    No, sorry as we border the William Bay National Park.
  • Do you provide linen? What is supplied in each cottage?
    Our properties are self-contained meaning that you can prepare your own meals and have washing facilities. All linen and towels (one per person for duration of stay) are included. We DO NOT do daily servicing. Starter Packs (ie limited supplies) of detergent, toilet paper, garbage bags are supplied. You will need more of these items or buy locally if you are here for more than two nights.
  • Is there a charge for children?
    Children under 2 years of age are free of charge.
  • Do I need to bring my own porta cot & highchair?
    We can provide these during your stay depending on availability. Please make note at time of booking.
  • Is WIFI and TV reception available?
    Although we recommend our guests to relax and disconnect we do provide Free WIFI in our Recreation Room and Reception area. We have satellite Tv channels.
  • Is mobile coverage available?
    Telstra and Optus providers have some signal throughout the property. Limited service is provided to all other networks.
  • Do you supply firewood for your wood fires?
    Yes we do supply fire wood through out your stay with us. Please contact the office if you are running low during your stay.
  • Is there a coffee machine in our accommodation?
    Coffee plungers are provided to all our accommodation. Nespresso Pod machines are in some of our accommodation. Please read our ‘whats included’ or we suggest you bring your own.
  • How far is it to the beach?
    We offer a private walk trail through the William Bay National Park onto Mazoletti Beach – a thirty minute walk.
  • Where is the best place to purchase groceries?
    We are located about 15 minutes’ drive east from the Denmark town centre. In town you will find two supermarkets, bakeries, butcher, pharmacy and health food store.
  • What can I expect in terms of things to do on the property?
    We have a tennis court, games room, walking track direct to the beach. We offer animal feeding, at our barn. We have free dvd rental, as well as books that you can borrow from the front office.

  • Do we have to clean our accommodation before we leave?
    We do ask that you leave the accommodation clean and tidy and all items be put away.
