William Bay Country Cottages

Local Attractions

Denmark and the south coast

Denmark and the south coast of West Australia are rightly famous for their awesome coastal scenery, majestic forests, pristine beaches and wonderful national parks. Your holiday accommodation at William Bay Country Cottages is central to most of the attractions in and around Denmark. Mazzoletti Beach is accessible by a walk trail from your cottage and the wonderful William Bay, Greens Pool, Elephant Rocks, Madfish Bay and Waterfall Beach are just a stone's throw further afield.

Tree Top Walk and the Valley of the Giants

A 25 minute drive will take you to the Tree Top Walk in the Valley of the Giants. This amazing structure will certainly give you a bird's eye view of the mighty Tingle forest, and the Ancient Empire boardwalk, meandering amongst the trunks of these giants, will astound you. During school holidays there are added special activities, including evening walks - when the dark forest comes alive.

Other attractions

We are a one hour drive from Albany where you can visit Albany's old whaling station, which is now known as Whaleworld, a very popular museum and display, and 45 minutes from Walpole.
