William Bay National Park, Denmark WA

William Bay Cottages in Denmark is just a short drive away from one of Western Australia’s most famous scenic areas, the William Bay National Park in Denmark. Just fifteen kilometres west of the town centre our cottages lie amongst this Denmark national park which covers almost two thousand hectares, including some of the most spectacular coastline in Western Australia.
The national park is famous for its turquoise green waters and pristine white sandy beaches, edged by granite boulders. These granite boulders and rocky shelves extend for 100 metres out to the sea along the coast. These create sheltered pools, channels and granite terraces inside the reef for a fascinating seascape. This area is perfect for swimming, snorkelling, relaxing or exploring the granite rocks.
The William Bay National Park abounds in flora and fauna, including magnificent karri forest, peppermint and coastal heath. There are approximately 100 species of birds and many species of marsupial including Pigmy Possum and Honey Possum. The wildflowers in the William Bay National Park are particularly spectacular in the spring season from August to October.
Book your stay at William Bay Cottages and you’ll be able to enjoy everything this Denmark national park has to offer.
